Building Values Across the Whole School
The Australian Government has funded the publication of Building Values Across the Whole School which forms part of the Values for Australian Schooling resource series for Australian schools. The resource consists of two components: Teaching and Learning Units and a Professional Learning Program. Teaching and Learning Units is designed to assist schools and teachers to integrate values within key learning areas of the school curriculum.
Supporting Student Wellbeing Through Values Education
Supporting Student Wellbeing Through Values Education: A Resource Package is a new resource for Australian schools funded by The Australian Government. The publication forms part of the Values for Australian Schooling resource series. Supporting Student Wellbeing Through Values Education is designed to support schools in integrating values in curricular and extracurricular contexts to develop student responsibility, social skills, resilience and wellbeing.
Values in Action Newsletter
The Values in Action Newsletter includes updates on the national Values Education Program, news about the the Values in Action Schools Project, news on State and Territory programs, news on the values education Partnership Projects, and much more.
The Values in Action Schools Project (VASP) is an Australian Government initiative in which clusters of schools have been funded to design, implement and evaluate the outcomes of high quality values education projects. The VASP builds on the work previously undertaken by schools since the National Framework for Values Education in Australian Schools was instigated in 2005 and the findings from this project will provide guidance to all Australian schools on using good practice values education outcomes for the long-term benefit of the whole school community.
The Values Education Good Practice Schools Project – Stage 2 Final Report
At the Heart of What We Do: Values Education at the Centre of Schooling – The Final Report of the Values Education Good Practice Schools Project – Stage 2 outlines the learnings and outcomes of twenty-five school clusters from around Australia that were funded by the Australian Government to design, implement and evaluate quality projects in values education which reflected and utilised the National Framework for Values Education in Australian Schools in local contexts.
